Big Trouble.

Ugh, perspective. I used the line art from a really old illustration I did and then tried to match it up with the angle of the monitor & re-drew it when it looked sort-of alright.

I’m trying to use purple a lot now. It’s a neglected color in my illustrations. I also think using myself/my surroundings as reference will never get old. I actually was one of those girls who used to flip out about stuff on Facebook – so it’s appropriate that my old laptop is honored in this illustration.

PS. This is the third illustration my dead laptop has appeared in!

So I tried to draw this really obnoxious embodiment of horrendous net-speak + scene fashion that’s been plaguing my brown line.

I had to get some Candy Hearts in there – and DaFont.com never lets me down. Ever.

Ok, well, mine doesn’t really fit with the article. I was having a had time coming up with an idea. Before I could get a good one I got really busy and this was thrown together this morning. Mine is more about how this internet speak is taking over and the kids these days use it way more then we are used to. I’ve heard that it is a real problem with younger kids entering school. I guess if you want to stretch it, relationships can lead to babies, so that’s how mine fits.
